Progress bars and such

Added availability-o-meter and progress-bar to search and transfer pages. The text color should probably be changed to white, and/or the bar colors adjusted, since currently the text isn't very readable (black text on partially-black bar). Also finally wrote the backend to the search controls (type, min/max size). On search page, results with no complete sources are displayed with yellow bar; on transfer page, part of the bar becomes red when part of the file is completely unavailable.

Impressive! :)

I really like them!

only 1 note:
when i download, expecially on ed2k i have the problem of fake... so i need preview option... that bring the need to know if i have downloaded the first part of the file...

When u have time se if u may add the option to show a stutus bar emule kind ( show the real part done or not )

Anyway this is a minor addition!
Not a needed one for version 1.0 :)

Very nice, what about adding a non-graphical feature? Evil IP Filtering and fake list:

Bleh, that sort of ip filtering is IMHO a waste of time. Any self-respecting ant-p2p agency will use unremarkable connections, some even go so far as to use DSL/cable connections intended for home or small business use.

Yes, but there are a lot of crap ones, so less shit :)

I guess that the idea of IP FIltering is interesting, and somehow interesting.

but again, is a thing for release 2.0 not 1.0 :)

Of course i guess MadCat will not complain if anyone try to implement it ;)

It's already possible to use an IPFilter. Check out "IPFilter=path" setting in config.in.

I use MLDonkey but want change to Hydranode, it will possible soon to import MLDonkey configuration and files to Hydranode directly?

It is nice to see Hydranode evolve. I know GUI is not ready for testing, but I think pointing few things before it is finished will be much easier then after.

1. Why "Completed" column is removed? While graphical presentation of download progress is needed, some of us still need detailed information on how much of a file is downloaded.

2. I see that some status information is merged into "Remaining" column. Can sorting be made that it will be sorted in this order:
Downloading
Waiting
Veryfing
Moving
Paused
Stopped
Completed
Cancelled

3.On Linux progress bar looks odd. There are gaps in a bar (in places where color changes) and fonts are smaller then rest of them. Also text on progress bar is rendered in wrong place (at the top of row not in the center)

Can you please post a screenshot, and note which linux version and window manager are you using?

Madcat.

Screenshot is here
It's on Gentoo Linux and WM is KDE 3.5.2.

I can't see the image, something is wrong. I'm curious about the screenshot and maybe Madcat still did not see it...

No problem here to view the screenshot. It just took some time to load it.
